Fulfilment centre, Dunstable

The trade giant opened its 29,000 square metre fulfilment centre in Dunstable in May 2015. The centre also houses the ‘on demand’ book printing facility. Being a huge site with very large ventilation systems, our Ecoaer team installed the ventilation system including, ducting, volume control and fire dampers, grilles and diffusers, louvres, and insulation to this 20+ metre high factory, using specially designed fixing solutions. Additionally, we installed special local extraction for the book printing machines using bifurcated fans which extract the glue smoke, smell from the machines. Furthermore, we also soundproofed the ducting with high density special insulation.
